Demetria McKinney released her debut album "Officially Yours", on October 6th, 2017 -- under eOne music label. All the songs on "Officially Yours" emanate from a place within Demetria that up until now she has only expressed through the characters that she's played. The spectrum of a woman's life lived out loud - with love, resilience and courage - is represented on "Officially Yours". After the amazing turnout of her latest singles "Easy" and "Unnecessary Trouble" ft. Kandi Burruss, Demetria feels she's ready to debut her next project... her sophomore album.

McKinney utilized this project to introduce herself as a “singer who just so happens to be an actress.” The first single off her “Officially Yours” album is her hit single "Easy" which her fans named 'A Woman's Anthem' and reached #5 on the billboard charts. "Easy" is a song about a woman living and loving a man in a relationship that is growing. The soulful ballad was written by McKinney, Courtlin Jabrae and Devin Horton, and was also produced by We Are Starbound Music.

After  Demetria worked with Musiq Soulchild on her very first music video and shooting her second music video "Work With Me", we believe that the world is ready for this amazing songbird! She also worked with Bryan Michal Cox, Herman Johnson (Who've worked for a couple of Tyler Perry plays) & Hollywood Hot Sauce.
