On Season 7 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, newbie Demetria McKinney has been all about her music — even skipping the RHoA reunion to perform and prepare for an upcoming tour — so that's what makes this news especially sweet. Demetria just revealed exclusively to Wetpaint that she has officially signed with eOne records! We were present at the signing, so be sure to scroll down for exclusive photos and videos.

Demetria has had tremendous success with her debut single “100” featuring Da Brat, which soared to No. 4 on iTunes R&B charts after she performed the song on RHoA, and her current single, “Trade It All," is gaining momentum. What’s more? Demetria was recently added to R. Kelly's upcoming Black Panties tour and to the Funk Fest tour, which kicks off this summer.
“This is a dream come true for me. I'm so grateful to eOne, my team, and Bravo TV for giving me the platform to share my music which has now culminated into me joining eOne. I look forward to my upcoming tours with R. Kelly and Funk Fest, as well as releasing some great music this summer" Demetria says via a press release from eOne.
Alan Grunblatt, President of eOne Music, adds, “We are thrilled to be welcoming Demetria McKinney to the eOne family of artists. She has a beautiful voice and is a talented singer and actress.”

When we asked Demetria why she chose eOne, she gushed, “They have a great roster and when I met with them it already felt like family. The other thing is, I wanted someplace that I could really just continue to be me and grow as an artist. They weren’t trying to change anything that I had done and they were really excited about me genuinely as an artist so it was a perfect fit.”
As you might expect, the “100” singer is in really good company at her new label, which represents renowned artists such as The Game, DJ Drama, Michelle Williams, and Kenny Lattimore, whom Demetria hopes to collaborate with in the future. “I think he’s just got such an amazing swag to him,” she explained, noting that he’s not bad to look at either. “When you meet him, ladies, he really does melt you. It’s real.”
eOne Music, based in Port Washington, New York, has quickly grown to become North America's largest independently owned and distributed record label, and Demetria couldn’t be happier about joining their roster of talented artists. She told us that her music will be “definitely R&B, but not old R&B.”
Demetria may prefer R&B for her own music, but we had her try her hand at Dubsmashing and she totally killed a Whitney Houston classic. Check it out below!
