Demetria McKinney Teases RHOA Season 7 Reunion - Exclusive

With Season 7 of Real Housewives of Atlanta now officially behind us, we can look ahead to the three-part reunion slated to kick off this Sunday, April 26. Though newbie Demetria McKinney wasn’t present for the reunion — she was off slaying the music world instead — she gave us a little tease of what we can look for in the saga when she stopped by the Wetpaint Entertainment offices last week.

“You’re going to see some people that have been bullying all season try to play victim, don’t fall for it,” Demetria dished. “Remember the season, that’s the only thing I can tell you guys. Make sure that you pay attention to the whole thing.”

Though the “Trade it All” singer never mentioned any of her co-stars by name, we have a sneaking suspicion that the bully she’s referring to is none other than NeNe Leakes. Mrs. Leakes came for Demetria’s good friend (and fellow newbie) Claudia Jordan during the cast trip to Puerto Rico early on, and the two failed to see eye-to-eye ever since. Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, and Kenya Moore weren’t crazy about NeNe this season either, to be honest.

As for “playing the victim”? The super-trailer for the reunion we were treated to last week teased that things get very emotional for NeNe when Dr. Jeff returns and forces her to talk about her mother. Sounds like Demetria isn’t buying those tears!

And even though NeNe can be a formidable force, Demetria says her crew had no problem going toe-to-toe with the RHoA vet. “My girls held it down, I’m really proud of them” she explained.
