Luxe Lifestyle Awards

Last night the “Luxe Lifestyle” Mixer and awards ceremony was held at Aurum Lounge in Atlanta.  The mixer was a chance for artists of all types to meet, network, and share ideas.  The evening was filled with many artistic movers and shakers, and some of the most notable were recognized for their working in TV, music, fashion, and philanthropy.  Demetria McKinney from “House of Payne” was honored for her fine acting.  Author Debra Shigley was honored-look for her upcoming segments on ”The Today Show”!,  Kysha Cameron, CEO of the Ryan Cameron foundation was also recognized for the foundation’s philanthropic successes.  “RL”,  from the group Next (remember them?) got an award for his work in music.  He also told me to expect to see him on the next season of  Real Housewives of Atlanta!  What? That’s right! Seems he and Peter Thomas (Cynthia’s husband) are opening a new tapas restaurant/lounge in the ATL and the Bravo cameras are catching it all….. Needless to say, the night was interesting, fun, and chic.
